The Cake Tin is a small independent baking business in Llanelli, proudly serving the Carmarthenshire area.

The Cake Tin started back in 2020 when myself Emily, decided to turn my love of baking into a business offering birthday cakes. Fast forward a few years, I now offer bespoke cakes from Wedding to birthdays to baby showers, homemade and delicious buffets for all kinds of occasions- funerals, business events and birthdays, you name it. I also proudly have two Cake Tin Trailers, which are both self converted and available for events all over Wales serving fantastic Double Trouble Coffee and all your favourite sweet bakes.

Everything we make is freshly prepared to order with care, creativity and a personal touch. Whether you’re after a one of a kind

celebration cake, a buffet for a family gathering or a regular batch of bakes for your coffee shop. The Cake Tin is here to bring your ideas to life.

Little update… As a lot of my regulars will know I’ve got Ironman Wales coming up in less than 2 weeks so my diary is now closed until after that as it’s looking prettttty full up until then already.

After 9 years in my Finance role, 5 years of juggling both employment and self employment it’s time to take the next step to solely focus on The Cake Tin.

Super proud of how the Cake Tin has grown from a little idea I had 5 years ago to now having Cake Tin 1.0 & 2.0, supplying coffee shops weekly and having some well established companies on my buffet customer list. I’ve had a lot of help along the way, it’s been hard work at times with long long hours but it’s all been worth it.

This weekend is the first of two annual Music in the Parc events at Parc Howard.

One of my favourite events of the year. We are so lucky to have the beautiful Parc Howard on our doorstep, the volunteers put so much effort into it all year round and it’s great to see everyone enjoying it at these events.
